What happens next?

Social Work, Police and Health will share information to assess the child or young person’s situation. They will decide on the next steps, which may involve speaking to other people involved with the child such as other family members, teachers or health visitor. The assessment will also involve speaking to the child or carer, and the child.   The aim is always to keep the child safe and provide supports to help that happen.
